The Way of the Mace Program

The Way of the Mace program does not have a definitive start or end date. Our fitness programs are self study, which means you can start at any time!

We would consider The Way of the Mace to be an intermediate fitness level program as this is a more intense program focusing on high body and spatial awareness. The Way of the Mace program is great for members who have already completed the Valkyrie Squad program!

Yes! The workouts are available for at-home or gym use.

Each of our available programs and quests include a curated equipment guide to help you get the most of your Micro Squad membership. The equipment we recommend is used across most of our workouts, so you'll be sure to use them again and again!

Micro Squad members subscribed to our Magic level membership ($20/month) have access to The Way of the Mace program.

Completing the Valkyrie Squad program is not required, but it’s highly recommended—think of it as leveling up. Valkyrie Squad builds the strength, coordination, and foundation you need before graduating to the next stage (aka, handling a real sword like a total badass).

If you've already conquered Valkyrie Squad, you’re in a great spot to take things up a notch. But if you're still working on your form (or just getting used to wielding a prop sword), consider finishing Valkyrie Squad first. Trust us—your grip, control, and overall warrior skills will thank you. 

We strongly recommend NOT doubling up on workouts—as it can lead to overtraining and injury. There's no combined calendar for these programs because your body needs recovery just as much as movement.

If you want to alternate between them, go for it! Just be mindful of upper-body fatigue—especially with Electrokickboxing and Valkyrie Squad both bringing the heat. Give your muscles the love they deserve with Magic Mobility on recovery days. Listen to your body, and remember: more isn’t always better—smarter is.
